Why choose Momentum Solar?
Value
Momentum Solar stands for quality at a price that you can’t beat. If you thought that solar hot water systems were expensive, think again. Call us and we believe that you will be in for a pleasant surprise.
Innovative
Momentum Solar utilises the latest solar technology and all our products are specially designed for northern European climates. Our systems are built to the highest standards and tested thoroughly. It means that you benefit from the maximum power from the sun throughout the year.
Quality
Quality is the key word of all that we do from stringent building controls through to the detail of the finished system not to mention thorough testing and careful installation. We offer one of the few products on the UK market which is assembled with laser welding. The result is a top range system that offers continuous high
performance year after year and looks fantastic.
Trust
Momentum Solar is a name you can trust. We are Solar Key Mark accredited and fully approved by the premier testing agency in Europe, Din Certco based in Germany. Our panels are certified according to EN-12975 parts 1 and 2. This is the highest level of certification available covering both performance (part 1) and durability
(part 2). We expect our systems to last a lifetime and can offer a free 10 year guarantee on all our solar panels.
Experience and expertise
We have over 30 years of solar experience to help you make the right choice and to help you every step of the way in achieving your own green and free energy.
Momentum Solar hot water systems are compatible with almost any home and we will advise you about the best location to capture the most sun. We can work with most boilers, even combi-boiler systems. Even if
another company has said that your boiler is incompatible, don’t give up – we promise to keep your existing boiler if we possibly can.
Get a little help from the Government
All domestic solar hot water installations are eligible for a grant from the Government. Just ask one of our
consultants for advice.
Technical know-how
We recommend flat-plate panels because they are far more durable than the tube style. Tube panels can be damaged in some weather conditions such as hailstorms. In fact, most tube panels only achieve part 1 of Solar Key Mark’s certification for performance and lack the second part testing durability. Rest assured that our panels pass both tests with flying colours.
In Europe where solar hot water has been well established for at least three decades, flat-plate panels are the solar systems of choice. Tubes are not as popular because experienced customers know that they might cause problems after a few years.
